Where: Snohomish
Why we chose it: This boutique and art studio is dedicated to crocheting, knitting, and other fiber arts. Owner Anna Marie offers a variety of classes in her studio in the heart of downtown Snohomish. Upcoming classes include wool flower making, blanket and scarf knitting, and hat embroidery. Anna Marie provides all the necessary supplies, and no experience is needed. Just bring your creativity and get knitting!
Where to stay: Mansion Inn Lake Stevens, a family-owned bed and breakfast in neighboring Lake Stevens.

Why we chose it: There are endless artistic possibilities at the Shack, located in downtown Everett. They have state-of-the-art studios and offer classes in countless art forms, including glass blowing, sculpture, silversmithing, book arts, drawing, painting, and more! They even offer fun fall-themed art classes where you can make glass pumpkins, ceramic skeleton bowls, and haunted fairy houses!

Salish Sea Ceramic Studio
Where: Everett
Why we chose it: This woman-owned studio in downtown Everett offers wheel-throwing and hand-building pottery classes. Classes are taught in small groups, allowing you to learn the art of ceramics in a relaxed and low-stress environment. The studio offers fun seasonal classes in addition to standard year-round offerings. This fall, they are offering a jack-o’lantern hand-building workshop where you will craft your very own clay pumpkin. The perfect art class for a cozy fall weekend!

Classes at Wine and Design include ceramics, painting, resin pouring, and a variety of crafts. The studio offers many seasonal classes, so this is the place to go if you’re looking for a fun fall craft project! Pumpkin charcuterie boards, ghost doormats, and acrylic pour pumpkins are just a few of this fall’s offerings at Wine and Design.
Where to stay: Treehouse Place at Deer Ridge, a unique destination nestled in the woods offering treehouses and cabins.
Dawn’s Candy and Cake
Where: Lynnwood
Why we chose it: It’s art you can eat! Need we say more? Dawn’s Candy and Cake is a family-owned business that offers chocolate, candy-making, and cake decorating classes. Dawn will provide all the necessary supplies to create delicious sweet treats to taste and take home. Learn to make chocolates, cakes, truffles, or even buttercream flowers in one of Dawn’s many classes. There are even fun seasonal classes, including Halloween cupcake making, pumpkin cake carving, and Halloween fondant figure making!
Where to stay: Best Western Plus Edmonds Harbor Inn, located just two blocks from the Edmonds waterfront, a cute neighboring town with abundant shops and restaurants.
