Each state has its own plan for reopening. Within our own state different counties are at different phases.
Right now Snohomish County (Seattle NorthCountry) is in Phase 2 of Washington State’s recovery plan.
Here’s what you need to know about our county if you plan to visit in the near future.
People are allowed to spend time in groups of up to five people outside of their household.
Approved outdoor recreation activities include:
-camping
-hiking
-beach trips
-biking
-kayaking
Beaches are open.
Most people can travel.
High-risk populations – such as people older than 60, those with underlying health conditions, or pregnant women – should continue to stay home aside from essential business and errands.
Restaurants can reopen at limited on-site capacity, with appropriate social distancing, no more than five customers per table, and no bar-area seating.

Most businesses now have their business status available on Google. It pays to search in advance. Or you can’t go wrong with picking up the phone and calling during business hours.
