It’s Phase 2 In Snohomish County. Now What?

The Coronavirus economy can be confusing for travelers.

It’s confusing because our economy is actually made up a lot of microeconomies operating at differing capacities.

Each state has its own plan for reopening. Within our own state different counties are at different phases.

Right now Snohomish County (Seattle NorthCountry) is in Phase 2 of Washington State’s recovery plan.

Here’s what you need to know about our county if you plan to visit in the near future.

Restaurants can reopen at limited capacity.

Nonessential travel is okay for many.

Nonessential Travel For Many

Most people can travel.

High-risk populations – such as people older than 60, those with underlying health conditions, or pregnant women – should continue to stay home aside from essential business and errands.

Some Restaurants Are Reopening

Restaurants can reopen at limited on-site capacity, with appropriate social distancing, no more than five customers per table, and no bar-area seating.

Check Before You Go

Is your favorite restaurant open? Do they do to go orders? Do they have seating available?

Most businesses now have their business status available on Google. It pays to search in advance. Or you can’t go wrong with picking up the phone and calling during business hours.
