Sultan Farmers Market - Spring-Fall

Discover the true meaning of “farm to table” when you buy produce directly from the farmers who grow it. Every Saturday from May to September, the city of Sultan’s River Park transforms into a beautiful community market that draws farmers, artisans, and crafters from around the Sky Valley. The Sultan Farmers Market features locally grown food, live music, and more.

Skykomish Open Air Markets – Spring-Fall 

Historic Skykomish hosts a seasonal monthly market that showcases a variety of handcrafted goods created by local artisans. It’s a unique market where you’re likely to find your favorite new book or piece of art, jewelry, hand-sewn clothing, or garden art. Vendors often change each month, so it’s definitely worth visiting multiple times throughout the market season to discover one-of-a-kind treasures.

Skykomish Tunnel Days – Summer

Celebrate the pioneering spirit of the Sky Valley with a fun-filled festival celebrating community and the completion of the historic 8-mile railroad tunnel through the Stevens Pass. Tunnel Days features a pancake breakfast, a fun run, mini train rides, music, a silent auction, and so much more.

Sultan Shindig – Summer

The streets of Sultan come alive with a street fare, car and truck show, parades, fireworks, live music, carnival, and the annual heart stopping-logging show in which loggers fly up poles, attack an obstacle course with a chainsaw, and throw axes. The Sultan Shindig is quite the flurry of excitement!

Gold Dust Days – Summer 

Travel to a time when the simple pleasures of a small-town gathering was the highlight of the summer at the annual Gold Dust Days & Classic Car Show. Experience old-fashioned fun like a gunny sack race against a firefighter or a chance to hula hoop your way to victory. Plus catch a craft fare featuring locally made products, live entertainment, and food trucks.

Index Arts Fest – Summer

If you’ve ever imaged what it’s like to attend an arts and crafts festival at the base of a mountain, here’s your chance. The index Arts Festival has an arts and crafts marketplace, live music, children’s activities, and food vendors—all set afoot the picturesque Mt. Index. There’s nothing like it!

Skykomish Music in the Park – Summer

Enjoy a full day of live music along the picturesque Skykomish River. This event also features delicious food, dancing, bubbles, and late-night music under the starry sky and dazzling lights. It’s the perfect way to spend a Saturday in August.

Shoot for the Sky – 3 on 3 – Summer

Think you got what it takes to rule the court? Grab some pals, lace up your sneakers, and head to Sultan’s River Park for a 3 on 3 basketball tournament. Compete in one of the many divisions for adults or youth—and make sure you bring you A game!

Return of the Salmon Celebration – Fall

Every September, the town of Sultan hosts a celebration of nature and community featuring the return of salmon to Osprey Park. Activities include viewing tours, salmon and frybread, live music, vendors, children’s activities, watershed education, plains-style drumming and round-dances, and the Salmon Run 5K Cross Country Trail Fun Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk.
