What's New, Everett?
Cities are like curious organisms. They are always changing; alive with people and the transport of goods. They sprout new buildings and fresh dreams.
Everett is the type of city that changes practically before your eyes. Long an industrial town, this seaside peninsula has authentic roots with a fresh sheen of development. It’s an appealing mix of old and new. Here are some of the latest and greatest attractions for you to experience during your visit to Everett.

Waterfront Development
The second-largest public marina on the West Coast just keeps getting better. The Everett Waterfront has opened some incredible new businesses that are one hundred percent worth your patronage.
The Muse is a cafe by day and a speakeasy by evening. It’s located in the historically rich Weyerhaeuser Building set alone in a field in the revamped Boxcar Park (same park with a new panoramic promenade). Words really fall short when describing The Muse. Just go. True to its name, you’ll walk away inspired.
Fisherman Jack’s serves up dim sum and top-tier cocktails. Their patio opens up to the waterfront promenade, offering views of big white yachts and sunsets over the water to the west. Classy.
South Fork Baking is the place to go for fresh-baked vegan treats and coffee. Don’t overthink it. Delicious baked goods, delicious coffee.
The waterfront is so good. Enjoy a new playground, clean public restrooms, harbor seals, picnic tables, boat launches, and the Jetty Island Ferry. And best of all? It’s completely walkable, bikeable, or rollerblade-able.
New Eats
Fresh restaurants keep popping up. Here are some great options for dining when you’re in town.
Tacos + Beer – fresh guac, delicious tacos and an open patio courtyard with a palm tree. Tacos + Beer: the name says it all.
Revive Bowls - acai bowls and smoothies bring refreshment to the health-conscious consumer. Chia seeds galore.
Obsidian Beer Hall – Where craft beer on tap meets graffiti art and hip hop. Bring in outside food and find your beverage match: could be hard kombucha, a local microbrew, or a cider from Eastern Washington.
Colby Club – this little speakeasy is easy to miss if you’re not looking for it. Duck in and treat yourself to a classic craft cocktail in a quiet, cozy little vintage-inspired venue. Bonus: they also serve up small bites to satisfy your late-night cravings.
Marcel – hipster minimalism has its day at this European-inspired bar. It’s bottles, cans and snacks in a quiet setting with cafe curtains. Be sure to pop next door to shop for high-quality home goods and plants at Petrikor.

Pro sports
Good news: you don’t have to be a professional athlete to be able to access professional sports. Skip the big city madness of parking and traffic and catch a baseball game with the Aquasox (a.k.a. Frogs) or a hockey game with the Silvertips.
These games are easy on the wallet and feature minor league athletes who are about to turn pro. Take yourself out to the old ballgame or hit the rink -- you won't be sorry you did.
Fresh Hewitt Ave biz
Downtown Everett's "Main Street" has all of the places you need to go, like, yesterday. Take your pick or explore all of the options -- there's no wrong answer.
Apollo Exos – a record store specializing in curated rarities, heavy metal vinyl, and tapes. Oh yeah, they also have beer and sometimes live music!
Summit Everett – everything that you could want in an indoor climbing gym. The equipment and walls are brand new, and it’s conveniently located next door to a French bakery. Nice.
Hewitt Antiques and Collectibles – I have a soft spot for antiques. I’m a sucker for vintage items that tell a story. And I gotta say – Hewitt Antiques really know their stuff and offer some real treasures at competitive rates. Take a visit and you’ll see what I mean.
Black Forest Mushrooms – a uniquely PNW experience, visiting Black Forest is pretty fun. You can buy your own edible mushroom grow hits, plus varietals of mushrooms like lion’s mane, blue oyster, and chaga – all grown on site and indoors.
