As you stroll along, stop for a bite without missing a beat; whether you prefer outdoor patios and fireplaces, a cozy, relaxed bar vibe or fine dining, you’ll come upon local dining choices to suit your style. The district’s centerpiece? Chateau Ste Michelle. The lush grounds and grand buildings invite you to linger; if the weather is agreeable, wander into the winery shop for picnic makings. Choose the complimentary 35-minute tour and tasting or one of the higher-end experiences (Winemaker for a Day, anyone?).

Travel Tips

Avoid travel on Highway 9 during peak commuting hours (southbound from 6:00-9:00 a.m. and northbound from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.). Ride-sharing and taxi services are readily available. (locals recommend AAA Taxi). Prefer to district hop in your own car, but everyone wants to imbibe? Main Street Drivers will supply a driver to get you around safely in your own vehicle.

The 30-mile Centennial Trail starts right in Snohomish, and the Paradise Valley Conservation Area is just a short drive away, with 13 miles of trails within the 793-acre area. It’s not really a question of where to eat in Snohomish, but how many locally-owned places you can manage to hit.
