Three stainless steel and resin sculptural towers created by Susan Zoccola in 2011.
This artwork was inspired by the movement of water droplets and is sited in front of a busy community swimming pool and recreation center. Acting as a 'grove' of light sculptures, the piece is a welcoming entrance beacon day and night. The piece is comprised of 3 vertical sculptures integrated with a series of interconnected circular patterns formed and colored in the concrete sidewalk.
The vertical sculptures are based on fluid dynamics studies, while the concrete circles refer to ripples left by drops on the surface of water.
