Pulp Sci-Fi Author/Illustrator
Comes to Everett on April 20
EVERETT, WA. Pulp author and illustrator, Sara Light-Waller, comes to Everett on April 20th for a signing of her new book, "ANCHOR: A Strange Tale of Time." She will speak about the history of science fiction as relating to the pulp era of the 1930’s and 40’s. The event will be held at the Black Lab Gallery, 1618 Hewitt Ave., from 3:15 to 5:15 PM.
Light-Waller is joined by Vince Ynzunza, director and producer of Pacific NorthWEIRD. Ynzunza will speak about the Northwest’s rich (and sometimes bizarre) UFO history.
The event is free to the public. Happy hour drinks and snacks will be offered for purchase by the gallery. Free street parking is available.
Sara Light-Waller is a pulp historian who specializes in science fiction that retains the look and feel of Golden Age pulp but is updated for modern sensibilities. She runs Lucina Press (lucinapress.com) and lives in Centralia, WA.
