Everett Wintertide: Kickoff Celebration & Holiday Festivities

Everett’s Wintertide season kicks off with a big celebration in downtown Everett on November 24 and 25. This year's Wintertide Kickoff Celebration is your gateway to the enchanting Wintertide Season.  

Highlights include: 
- Everett Makers Holiday Market: Discover a charming array of handcrafted gifts by over 40 local makers.  
- Live Holiday Music and Story Time: The Historic Everett Theatre comes alive with joyous holiday music and story time for kids.  
- Hang with Santa: Santa will pop in a couple times throughout the weekend for free photo sessions.   
- Tree Lighting: Santa will roll in and flip on the downtown holiday lights on Friday at 5 p.m.  
- Downtown Shopping: Explore downtown Everett's charm, from inviting shops and boutiques to cozy pubs and delightful restaurants. 
- Cocoa and Cookies: Warm up with hot cocoa and delicious holiday cookies. 
- Meet Dasher and Dancer: On Saturday, snap a family photo with live reindeer, Dasher and Dancer.

WINTERTIDE LIGHTS
There's nothing quite as festive as a holiday evening out enjoying festive holiday lights. In addition to the Tree Lighting, here are a few notable holiday lighting displays that you don't want to miss. 

Wintertide lights downtown 
Bundle up, grab a coffee, and enjoy the lights downtown while you do a little shopping. Downtown Everett is all decked out for the holiday season with a tall tree and stunning light display suspended over the Colby and Hewitt intersection (it's so bright you can see it from outer space*). 

Wintertide Lights at the Evergreen Arboretum: December 1-31 
In December, the Evergreen Arboretum transforms into a lighted holiday wonderland for all to enjoy. This dazzling display is free and open daily from 4-8 pm. 145 Alverson Blvd, Everett

Waterfront tree lighting and lighted boat parade: December 2
Head to the Port of Everett on December 2 for their annual Holiday on the Bay event which features a lovely tree lighting event and an outdoor lighted boat parade. Remember to check out all of the other fun things happening down there that day like ice skating, a visit from Santa, and more. Learn more on the Port of Everett's website.

ICE SKATING
The 'Pacific Ice' community ice rink will be located at the Port's Pacific Rim Plaza in Fisherman's Harbor, just in front of Hotel Indigo's Jetty Bar & Grille and steps from the new Grand Avenue Park Bridge.  The family-friendly program runs daily from November 25, 2023, through January 8, 2024.

Guests will enjoy a truly unique experience of skating on real ice at a covered rink overlooking the Port of Everett Marina.  Holiday lights, music, and a handful of concessionaires will add to the whimsical atmosphere! For more information, check out Visit Everett's website.
