The Paine Field Airport (PAE): For a direct route into the heart of Snohomish County, Paine Field is your go-to. Park and get through TSA to your terminal in minutes. And don’t forget to grab a craft cocktail and lounge by the fire while you wait for your flight. Yes, it’s that’s fancy. and Paine Field is a convenient option to get right to adventure. Airlines operating out of Paine Field provide service to several major cities across the United States.

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA): For international travelers or those coming from cities not directly served by Paine Field, Sea-Tac Airport is your gateway to Pacific Northwest culture and adventure. Located about 40 miles south of Snohomish County, it offers a wide range of domestic and international flights. From Sea-Tac, rent a car, take a shuttle, or use public transport to reach Snohomish County.

By Car

From Seattle: Take Interstate 5 (I-5) northbound. The drive from downtown Seattle to Everett, one of Snohomish County's major cities, typically takes about 30 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic.

From Vancouver, Canada: Drive south on BC-99 S, which becomes I-5 S upon crossing into the United States. The journey from Vancouver to Snohomish County takes approximately 2 to 3 hours, depending on border wait times and traffic.

By Public Transportation

Amtrak: Enjoy a scenic and stress-free train ride to Everett. Take Amtrak from King Street Station in downtown Seattle. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound as you amble your way north through the small coastal cities of Edmonds and Mukilteo. Amtrak arrives and departs from Edmonds, Everett and Stanwood, and connects you to either to and from Seattle or Vancouver, BC.

Sound Transit: Offers bus and light rail services connecting Snohomish County with other parts of the Seattle metropolitan area. The Sounder Commuter Rail has specific routes serving as far north as Everett, and there are numerous ST Express, Community Transit, and Everett Transit buses providing access to different parts of Snohomish County.
